Maud is a resident tattoo artist and one of the three founders of Downtown Paris.
Maud has chosen as an artist name Poésie Muette, a nickname that refers to her appetite for writing and poetry, which she now likes to tattoo, paying particular attention to the choice of words and typography. After a school of journalism (CFJ Paris), Maud began her career as a travel reporter: in six years she has traveled and written about more than sixty countries, and just as many cultures and encounters. She then piloted the digital communication of a Parisian museum, a well-deserved return to calm and an enriching cultural experience! Maud eventually went back to drawing and painting before getting into tattooing. Passionate about the work ofEgon Schiele, Greek mythology and feminine poetry, she has been drawing, painting and writing since childhood. From her travels, she has kept a taste for encounters, sharing and a sensitive look at the world. Today, Maud specializes in lettering, she composes custom typos, she also likes to make reproductions of works of art (paintings, sculptures, photos) in micro realism alongside her lettering.
